The Eiffel Tower: Icon Of Paris

Every time I go to Paris I have to visit the Eiffel Tour. Yesterday afternoon during a cloudy yet unusually warm day in Paris, I did just that. I think most people would agree that it’s one of the most recognized and loved symbols of Paris, if not the world! For me, it evokes the special character of Paris, a city extremely rich in culture. I never get tired of seeing it and when I am in Paris I am constantly looking for it day or night while getting around the city. I don’t have to ascend the tower (although it’s really fun and the views can’t be beat), but I must visit it to confirm that I am indeed in Paris (!) and of course, to snap some photos. To me Paris is not Paris without this stunning icon!

Checking out new monuments and museums, etc. are my priority while traveling but I also enjoy revisiting my favorites. The Eiffel Tour is certainly one of them.
