The Library Reading Room At The University of Oklahoma

The main hall of the Library

In October 2009, I visited Angelika, a close friend whom I met during my college years at the University of Oklahoma (OU) in Norman, OK.  It had been years since I had returned to OU and since I was in Texas visiting Anis, another college buddy, I had to drive up to Okie Land and see my old digs.

I snapped this shot of the reading room inside the oldest part of the library as I always enjoyed (!) studying here.  It felt Ivey Leaguish and old world and on top of that, it was a very quiet place in which to study such topics as Orientalism and Business Statistics.

It was really great to return to Oklahoma after all these years and I can’t wait to return to the state soon.
